Seals in the Park is a fundraiser for The Children’s Center, in collaboration with Harwich Cultural Districts, that features wooden seals decorated by local artists placed throughout Harwich for the community to silently bid on. All proceeds from this auction go directly to The Children’s Center, greatly benefiting our organization and the families we serve.

All proceeds from this auction go directly to The Children’s Center, greatly benefiting our organization and the families we serve.
How it works


Starting June 1st, the seals can be bid on in person at various locations throughout Harwich, listed below, via the QR code next to the seal. The seals can also be conveniently viewed and bid on online. Bidding is open to the public and you may bid on as many seals as you’d like!

Bidding is easy! To bid on a seal:
1. Select the seal you would like to bid on.
2. Click “Bid” under the photo of the seal. If you are a new bidder, the system will say you are not logged in. Click “OK” and enter your email to set up your account. Registering is quick and easy! Connect with your Google account or create a new account with your email and a password.
3. A link will be sent to your email. Click on this link to confirm your email address.
4. Once your account is set up and email is confirmed, head back to the bidding screen where you can insert the amount you’d like to bid and select “Bid.” Confirm that you want to submit your bid in the pop-up and your bid will be placed!
Bidding for each item starts at $10 and goes up in $5 increments. If someone outbids you, you will receive an email. Bidding will automatically close on August 31st, with the highest bidder winning the seal. The winner will be notified via email and will be able to make their payment online. Then they will be contacted to set up the delivery of their seal.
